Born in New York City on January 12, 1903 he was the son of Robert and Susanna Quinn Walsh. He attended the Passionist Preparatory School in Baltimore, Maryland. He professed his Passionist vows on October 12, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He died in Union City, New Jersey after years of prolonged illness.
