Father Ambrose Stemmler, C.P., Holy Cross Province (1875-1946)

Born in St. Louis, Missouri on July 3, 1875 he entered the Passionists and was professed on October 14, 1894. He was ordained a priest on May 16, 1901. Father Stemmler was a parish preacher until 1931 when ill health curtailed his abilities.
