Father Rupert Langenbacker, C.P., St. Paul of the Cross Province (1896-1969)

Born Carl Langenbacker on December 14, 1896, he was the son of Charles and Martha McGrath. He entered the Passionists on August 14, 1914 and professed his vows on September 17, 1918 receiving the religious name Rupert. He was ordained on October 28, 1923.
