- Father Rob attended "The Future of American Catholic
History: A Conference in Honor of Christopher Kaufman." It
was held on April 8-9, 2005 at Cushwa Center for the Study of
Catholicism, The University of Notre Dame, South Bend,
Indiana.
- Father Rob was a guest lecturer on April 13, 2005 at the
American Catholic History class of Dr. Tricia Pyne, St.
Mary's Seminary, Baltimore, Maryland. His topic was
"The Catholic Missions in China 1900-2007."
- Father John O'Brien, C.P. will present a paper on
"Catechizing Working Class Catholics in Depression-era
America" at the 2005 Spring Meeting of The American Catholic
Historical Association, University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio on April
22nd.
- Recent accessions at the archives have been: 2 photo albums of
ordination class of 1959 from Holy Cross Seminary, Dunkirk with
photos identified by Father Xavier Hayes, C.P.; correspondence and
notes (1950-1980) of Father Caspar Caulfield, C.P.; and the
sermons, courses, correspondence and manuscripts of Father Jude
Mead, C.P.
