Beginning in 1932 "The Official Catholic Directory" published in the United States listed statistics on the Passionist China mission. This is a rich source and can be used in conjunction with the list of all the Passionist missionary groups sent to China and lists of sisters who worked with them, the Sisters of Charity of Convent Station, New Jersey and the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden, Pennsylvania
Note that the statistical information is copied directly from "The Official Catholic Directory." As a result there might be some differences in spelling as it pertains to the various years. Statistics were published in the way they were received in the United States. Unfamiliarity of the mission sites as well as human error could have very well been the basis for the difference of these statistics over time.
